    You don’t need 5 blades for a good shave.

    I have tried pretty much all of the commercial cartridge razors over the years. This single blade razor from Proof and MKC is the best razor I have tried. Cheap to refill, and great. Build quality and style too. I especially like the magnetic blade retention and cover. Very happy with my purchase.

    Nice razor

    The construction of the razor is fantastic, as well as the looks. The reason I took 1 star off was related to the shave it delivered.

    I have been using DE razors for a few years to shave my head (usually every other day). I found myself having to make multiple passes (like 4, 5 or more) rather than the 2, sometimes 3, with other DE razors I have.

    Overall, it's a very mild shave (I didn't get any razor burn), just had to make more passes. It would be a good introduction for someone who is new to DE shaving since it is very similar to a traditional multi blade razor.

    Really overpriced for what it is. The holder is not sticky enough or magnetic. The razor itself works well and shaves smoothly but sometimes requires multiple pass for a close shave even with a brand new razor in it. When compared to other single blade razors it performs well, good balance and I love the color. However when compared to gillette this one underperforms. The first thing I missed about the gillette blades was the short precision blade on the back of the razor. If this were $50 I’d give it more stars. But for $125 I have buyer’s remorse already. Of course, I should’ve known, it’s 100% on me 🤷‍♂️
