The Breaking Butcher Knife’s blade is made from AEB-L steel, known for its exceptional edge retention, ease of sharpening, and superior corrosion resistance.

To complement this premium steel, we've left the blade with an 'as ground' finish to give ease of use when slicing through meat. With a thickness of .100″, this blade is robust enough to handle heavy-duty tasks while maintaining the flexibility needed for precise cuts. The Breaking Butcher’s sheath features a built-in retention screw that customizes blade tension and allows for handle-down carrying. The sheath also comes with a Kydex clip that allows you to carry your knife on a pack or belt loop, either horizontally or vertically.

The Breaking Butcher

I have the Bearded Butcher breaking knife made by Victorinox and also have all the Culinary knives from MKC so I thought I should add this knife to the collection. It is a great slicing and I am sure it will be great breaking down game. Now, if I can ever get drawn for Elk again in Arizona. 😂

True Butchers Knife

What an amazing knife. This thing is sharp, balanced and has the feel of a professional butchers knife. i wont use it daily but it an awesome tool to have when I need. I'm looking forward to the many years of use I will get from it.

This knife as well as every other MKC knife I own is the best I've owned. I've always prided myself on having the best kitchen knives possible. I can honestly say that I do believe I've got them now.
