Versatile Blade Shape

The Blackfoot’s drop point blade shape is key to its versatility. It has enough tip for easily caping out an animal or doing other fine work (yes, including those difficult tear ducts), but enough belly for skinning and deboning.
Parkerized 52100 Carbon Steel Blade

The Blackfoot is made from cryogenically treated 52100 high-carbon ball-bearing steel, achieving the perfect balance of edge retention, toughness, wear resistance, and easy resharpening.

The blade is also parkerized to a matte black finish, which minimizes rust and glare.
Compact Size & Weight

Most knives — especially “do-it-all” knives — are completely overbuilt for the job they’re intended for. Not the Blackfoot.

With a blade length of 3.375" and a total length of 7.75", the Blackfoot can go anywhere.

We also skeletonized the tang (the steel part of the handle) to shed unnecessary weight, bringing the total weight to 3.6 oz. But don’t let the small size fool you — the Blackfoot is big and strong enough for heavy work, like cutting through a pelvis or rib cage.

Bulletproof G-10 Handle Scales

The G-10 handle scales are equally as tough as the blade. G-10 is famous for being strong, durable, and lightweight — unmatched by any natural handle material.

It can withstand any abuse without cracking or breaking, won’t absorb blood, and provides excellent grip, even when wet. The contours of the handle are also designed for comfort in extended use. The G-10 scales are attached with locally sourced titanium screws and high-strength epoxy to secure the perfect, lasting fit.
Exclusive MKC Open Carry Sheath 2.0

Each Blackfoot comes with a USA Made, custom MKC Kydex sheath.

The sheath features a built-in retention screw to customize blade tension and allow for handle-down carrying. The Blackfoot sheath comes a Kydex clip that allows you to carry your knife on a pack or belt loop, either horizontally or vertically.

    Unreal

    I skinned a buck last night and broke out both rear corners and neck from the joint. I cut through the tail as well as the notch on the front legs to break those joints down also. After all that, I can still shave with it!

    The only problem I see is getting the fat off the black coating. It’s a trade off for blade protection though so I can live with that.

    It’s an absolute amazing knife!!!

    Worth every penny.

    Great knife! Stayed sharp all the way through processing a pronghorn. The ergonomics are perfect. From my experience with both MKC knives I have, you get what you pay for amd they are worth every penny.

    Hog wild!

    I go on a pig hunt every year in texas and every year i find myself sharpening the knives I used to break down these animals. That all changed when I was gifted a Blackfoot! One knife, no sharpening when field dressing and skinning multiple hogs with hide thicker than boot leather!

    Great All Around Knife

    MKC knocks it out of the park with this original. Perfect size for hunting self defense and edc. Just the right size to do all things. Best jack of all trade knife ever.
